FUSION WELDING PROCESS
In the fusion welding process, two plastic parts (pipes or fittings) are welded together through heat and pressure. Depending on the process, a different type of fusion machine is used. The time involved in heating and welding varies based on the material type and size. For example, the heating time of a polyethylene (PE) pipe will differ from that of a HDPE pipe. The application range can be from small single home plastic pipelines to transnational pipe systems.
